Answers to frequently asked questions

You can find an overview of all degree programs here. After selecting a degree program, you will find all relevant documents (APO / AFB etc.) on the right-hand side.

The semester dates (from when to when the lectures run, when the semester ends, etc.) can be found here. The examination dates and examination periods are published here.

You will receive your access data by e-mail after your enrolment at the TUC has been completed. You will need these for internet access in the student residences, as well as for StudIP and the study portal.

In StudIP you will not only find all lectures offered at the TUC, but you can also register for them and thus have access to the uploaded documents as well as a schedule of the lecture and much more. You can log in to StudIP with your RZ access data. You can find it here.

Our tutors will explain exactly how it all works during the Welcome Week.

In the study portal, you can change your contact details, download important study-related documents (certificate of enrolment, etc.) and also register for examinations.

Here you will find comprehensive instructions on the individual sections of the study portal.

  • AFB = Implementation regulations
  • APO = General Examination Regulations
  • IZC = Clausthal International Center
  • RZ = Computer Center
  • C.t. = Cum tempore (with time). The lecture starts 15 minutes later than indicated, e.g. 9 ct = 9:15 a.m.
