Specialist tutors

As a student tutor, you have the opportunity to undergo further didactic training in various workshops for tutors and receive the Tutor Qualification Certificate at the end.

Our certificate for tutor qualification is accredited as a program by the Tutoring Network and is based on the quality standards for tutoring programs of this Germany-wide association of colleges and universities in the field of tutoring.

You start with the basic module, in which we work with you on the following points:

• Role as a tutor, tutor behavior that promotes learning
• Learning psychology basics (neurodidactics, learning strategies, etc.) and behavior conducive to learning
• Principle of "minimal help"
• Control of group dynamic processes
• Development phases of a group process - TCI model
• Levels of communication
• Dealing with conflict situations in tutorials
• Training tutorial sequences, feedback

Please note: If you have not yet attended any tutor qualification courses, please only register for the basic module. The advanced modules are only open to you once you have successfully completed them.
