Internship office

The aim of the internship is an industrial internship. The aim of the internship is to acquire basic operational knowledge and skills and to become familiar with professional tasks and working methods in different areas.

An internship is required in some degree courses in the natural sciences, engineering and economics and is intended to supplement your studies. You can find precise information on how many weeks of work placement are required in which degree course in the implementation regulations for the respective degree courses. For some degree courses, part of the internship must be completed before the start of the course. You can also find further information on this in the implementation regulations for the individual degree programs.

  • Issuing certificates for mandatory internships
  • Recognition of industrial internships
  • Support with the placement of internships
  • Support for the faculties' internship officers
