Tutor qualification

Student tutors: Subject tutors, internship tutors, orientation tutors and peer/mentor tutors etc. fulfill important functions at neuralgic points within TU Clausthal as part of the Student Life Cycle. They support, teach, advise and accompany students in almost all areas of their studies. They need different skills to fulfill their tasks. In addition to subject-specific expertise, didactic know-how, communication skills and role clarity are crucial for the success of their tasks. They therefore have to face different requirements and challenges. To ensure that they do not do this alone, there is very important professional support from the respective chairs and organizational units on site. As part of the tutor qualification, they also have special interdisciplinary, didactic training and consulting opportunities.
