Student peer/mentors

As a mentor, you have the opportunity to receive further didactic training in various workshops for tutors at the Study Center and receive the Mentor Qualification Certificate at the end. There are many different offers from the tutor qualification, the learning coaching and the writing workshop. You start with the basic module, in which I work with you on the following points:

• Role as a mentor
• Learning psychology basics (neurodidactics, learning strategies, etc.) and behavior conducive to learning
• The principle of "minimal help"
• Control of group dynamic processes
• Development phases of a group process - TCI model
• Levels of communication
• Methods for preparing, structuring, building and organizing discussions
• Open questions, active listening and sending ego messages
• Dealing with conflict situations in conversations

After successfully completing the basic module, you can take one or more advanced modules of your choice and, by submitting the practical module, receive the Mentor:nnenqualifizierung certificate certificate.
