Student tutors and mentors support students. They support them at the start of their studies, offer them orientation and the opportunity to solve exercises in small groups and work on topics from the lectures.
They need a variety of knowledge and skills to cope well with these responsible tasks. Technical know-how forms the basis. However, organizational skills, didactic knowledge and clarity about your own role are also important for success.
Our workshop aims to make you fit for your tutorial and provide you with basic tools so that you can get started with confidence.
Objectives:
- Participants will be familiar with the basics of learning psychology.
- Participants will recognize and apply supportive, learning-promoting tutor behaviour.
- Participants will train methodological and social skills to deal with situations appropriately.
- They get to know the feedback rules and apply them.
