Not all topics can be dealt with in our workshops. We offer you several options for dealing with your individual concerns and questions:

Personal consultation:

Would you like to discuss your questions on didactic topics, get some practical tips or find out how you can apply for the Tutor Award in an individual meeting?
No matter how (in)specific your request may be - we will be happy to make time for you.
We offer you the opportunity to work on your topics in a confidential atmosphere.
Contact us. We will be happy to arrange an appointment with you

Collegial case consultation - collegial exchange promotes good teaching:

Every 3rd Wednesday of the month starting on 20.05.2020, 19:00 - 20:00 hrs you have the opportunity to participate in a moderated exchange format on didactic topics that concern you.
It is called "collegial case consultation" and enables you to work on your questions/problems/difficulties in a collegial manner. Collegial consultation is non-hierarchical and is also a common format in personnel development. Here, you are not only required to act as a case manager, but also as a consultant in your own right.
Would you like to know exactly how this works? Then find out in a short clip in our Stud.IP event.

I ask interested parties to always send me by the 2nd Friday of the month with the topics you would like to discuss.
Such topics can be very different, ranging from problems with digital teaching to difficulties at the chair or in dealing with students.
Important: This is about very specific examples and a very specific solution is sought for these in the team.

Expert-supported job shadowing:

An observation is a special consulting service that can support you directly in the planning and implementation of your tutorial. Upon invitation, we will visit you in your course as part of a teaching observation. The "view from the outside" is part of the teaching reflection and thus of the didactic three-step process (preparation/work phase/reflection). It can give you tips and suggestions for your teaching behavior in the tutorial.

Procedure:

  1. Making an appointment for a preliminary discussion and observation
  2. In a preliminary meeting, we will clarify with you the general conditions such as location, duration and your feedback requests or observation focus.
  3. Observation of your tutorial
  4. In the debriefing, we will give you feedback, discuss the main points of observation and discuss possible options for action together.
