Practical module

In order to receive the "Tutor:innenqualifizierung" certificate, it is necessary to submit a short practical performance in writing in addition to attending the basic and advanced modules. This could look as follows:

Short field report

Write a short experience report about your work as a tutor. You have the option of addressing the following content for the experience report:

  • Documentation of the preparation of the tutorial
  • Previous knowledge and experience in didactics
  • Your own expectations and concerns
  • Documentation of the implementation of the tutorial
  • Discussion of the tutor's tasks, i.e. an explanation of how the tutorial and course are linked, as well as an explanation of the preparation, procedure, working methods and structure of the tutorial
  • Possible problem situations and their solutions
  • Documentation of the follow-up to the tutorial: evaluation of the tutorial, conclusion on your own performance in relation to expectations, etc.

Please structure your explanations clearly. Check references with the help of the reader.

Planning a tutorial

Another option is to submit a detailed planning of a tutorial unit. The focus should be on the question: How did you prepare for one of your tutorials? A possible scheme could be the table below. Please justify your breakdown, the methods used, etc. Reflect briefly on how this tutorial was conducted, what you might have done differently or would change in the future based on your experience. If you have obtained feedback from your tutors about this tutorial, this can also be used here.
