Advanced module "Fundamentals of communication"
The ability to communicate well, i.e. to exchange information as smoothly as possible, is essential in various situations in life. In the context of teaching, such an ability can be the decisive component for the success of a course.
What does good communication depend on? What influencing factors do I need to take into account? How do I prepare for important conversations? How can I position and assert my interests well? How do I manage to de-escalate conflicts and deal with problems constructively? These and many other questions are the subject of the seminar and will be addressed together with the participants.
The interdisciplinary and inter-institutional exchange between the participants is another central objective of the workshop.
Objectives:
The participants
- know the levels of communication and their significance.
- learn methods for structuring, organizing and structuring conversations and know how to prepare for a conversation.
- practise active listening and sending first-person messages.
- work on and practise different conversation situations together.
